A parked Internet domain is one that's taken, but it is not associated with another service - web or e mail hosting. To put it differently, this kind of domain name will not open any real content if you type it within a web browser, but nobody else can take it as you have already registered it and you are its owner. The benefit of obtaining a domain name and parking it afterwards is that you will be able to keep it and not stress that somebody else could possibly register it meanwhile if, for instance, the website for it is not ready yet. You can set a temporary Under Construction page for a parked domain while you're working on your site, or forward it to some other web address - temporarily or permanently. The latter option can be used when you have already registered domain.com, for example, and you get domain.net and domain.org, so as to protect a brand name or a trademark. In this case, the .net and .org domains can be parked and directed to the .com as you do not need individual websites for them.

Parked Domains in Website Hosting

When you have a Linux website hosting from our company, you're going to be able to park all of your domain names easily. The feature is available for the domains registered through our company, and not for the ones that are only hosted here and directed from another company, as a domain address can be parked only through its registrar. Our Domain Manager instrument will allow you to select from a number of templates and you're going to be able to include your own text to any one of them. Forwarding a domain address to an alternative URL is as easy as only typing the Internet address and saving it. If you would like to host any of your parked domain addresses, it takes just a click to do it and our system is going to do the rest - changing the name servers, creating a domain folder in your account, creating the necessary DNS records, etc. For much easier control, you'll be able to filter the domain names registered in the account by their status - parked or hosted.

Parked Domains in Semi-dedicated Hosting

Our semi-dedicated hosting do not have a set limit for the amount of domains you can park. This feature is offered for domain addresses which are registered through our company and not ones that are only hosted, as the service is always provided only by the registrar. Parking any one of your domains is really easy and takes a few mouse clicks with the feature-rich Domain Manager software instrument, which you can access via your Hepsia website hosting CP. You'll have a number of parking templates to select from and you can add custom text to any of them - Under Construction, Parked Domain, For Sale, and the like. Un-parking a domain is just as simple and what is more, our system is going to set up all the needed records and it'll create a folder in the File Manager section automatically, so you will not need to do anything manually.
